Palazzi Rufini is not one of those agri-tourism centres dedicated to enforced sports-activities. It was conceived above all for those who wish to visit Umbria or relax and read under shady trees, take walks in nature or simply rest in the surrounding silence and quiet. An international library holding books in Swedish, German, French and English is placed at the disposal of our guests.

Naturally there are other facilities:
Other than the swimming-pool (open from June – September), there is a badminton court, volleyball, mountain-bike and the normal track-riding as well as table-tennis (ping-pong).

5 km away there are 2 golf clubs.


Swimming Pool

This oasis of silence and relaxation is set in the verdant leafy green of an orchard and only a little way from the small village-town. It measures 15 x 8 metres with a max. depth of 2.40 metres.

Dividing the two bedrooms, is the living room which is composed of an American “open space”, kitchen and lounge-dining room with a cast-iron stove fireplace.

Tables, chairs and comfy lounging-chairs are set about in the shade of the trees in such a way so as to guarantee everyone the utmost privacy

Garden

It occupies an area of about 5,000 sq. metres, is completely fenced-in and hidden from indiscreet gazers.

There is a ample shady parking in the private parking-space, surrounded by hedgerows.

Cooking Course

COURSES IN THE ITALIAN AND LOCAL TRADITIONAL CUISINE

Cooking has always been the owner’s passion.

Cooking courses are organised throughout the year, especially in spring and summer, but also on request if there be a sufficient number of participants. The classes are conducted on a theme. The courses are a “full-scale week-long immersion” in the art of cooking – a full four hours per day in theory and practice.

At the close of the course, a gastronomic competition is held with the participants vying with each other in “bravura”. (all the dishes are prepared by the participants themselves in their apartments)
Aided by excellent assistants or renowned chefs, the special courses organised in the Art of Cooking at our agri-tourism centre, are on the following themes:
