"Delle Guardie" apartment (The Guards')

This is situated on the second floor of the "casa padronale" or Manor House, and on the same level as the Ladies' Apartment, "Delle Donne".

The apartment faces south and consists of a spacious lounge-dining-room on two levels with fireplace, a small kitchen, two bed-rooms with a matrimonial-size double-bed and two single beds respectively, and a bathroom with box-shower. In total the apartment measures about 120 sq. metres.


There is a double-divan in the lounge which sleeps two, and a third bed may be added in the room that has two single beds. It is ideal for a family of four/six persons or a group of six friends (three couples).
Lying as it does under the roof, the great cross-beams of the ceiling and the view onto the garden, lend the apartment a particularly delightful and fascinating air. The roof is well insulated which keeps the temperature of the apartment interior static - cool in summer and warm in winter.

The furnishings too have been particularly well thought out. There is a warm welcoming atmosphere and an almost magic illumination that issues from light filtering in through the skylight and windows.

There is no lift, so one has to walk up three flights of stairs that are quite steep but not tiring to climb.
